GIVING (Pastor Value Uba) 16th August 2015

Where the spirit of the Lord is there is fullness of joy, It was a glorious day after the return from the national convention. The joy of the Lord filled the atmosphere. Service started with praise and worship led by Mama Funke Uba.

It was awesome as usual, the spirit from the convention was so strong that the people kept dancing like they'
ve never done.

 

It was not long before the man of God (Pastor Value Uba) stepped forward for a heart warming message which he titled GIVING! 

He taught that when we give it should be from our heart and not because we are forced or compelled to do it. ''some people give just because they expect something in return, others give because they dont want to feel left out in the crowd. some give because they want to prove a point to others, they want to show off, while some give because they want to compete with others. 

The congregation was silent during the service and everybody was sober as we all are guilty of the sin of giving.

 

True giving comes from the heart, a heart that expects nothing in return, a heart that sees only God and non other.

 So many people came out during the message repenting, and making a decision to give with a clear heart.

 

The bible stated clearly that when we give we will receive but that should not be our backbone for giving. Surely we will receive when we give but it should be done from the heart. MAY GOD GIVE US ALL A GIVING HEART IN JESUS NAME!''.
